PM Krivokapić congratulates on Ulcinj Municipality Day

Published on: Apr 2, 2021 4:30 PM Author: Office of the Prime Minister

On behalf of the Government of Montenegro and in his own capacity, Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić congratulated President of the Municipality Aleksandar Dabović, President of the Municipal Assembly Haxhi Sulejmani, members of the Municipal Assembly and all citizens on the Day of the Municipality of Ulcinj.

"The Government of Montenegro is committed to the progress of the municipality of Ulcinj, and concrete projects will enhance its exceptional economic potential. Despite the coronavirus epidemic, the state is preparing development plans regarding infrastructure projects in Ulcinj, but also permanent remediation of key environmental problems, such as the erosion of the beach on Ada Bojana. The plan is to find a sustainable solution for Ulcinj Salina, which has a great production and turism potential.

The Government has adopted a number of measures to help companies to more easily deal with the problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, but now we need patience and responsibility in respecting the measures so that Ulcinj, but also all other coastal municipalities, protect the health of citizens and welcome the summer tourist season as ready as possible.

I am convinced that through dedicated work we will come out of the epidemiological crisis and continue to build a better and fairer society," the Prime Ministerʹs congratulatory letter reads.
