The second shipment of 2,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccine, donated by Serbia, arrived in Montenegro this morning.

Minister of Health Jelena Borovinić Bojović and State Secretary of the Ministry of Health Borko Bajić received the shipment on behalf of the Government of Montenegro.

We are pleased to inform the Montenegrin public that the second shipment of the Sputnik V vaccine donated by Serbia arrived this morning. It is a batch of 2,000 doses of vaccine, which will be used for revaccination of residents of the Nursing home in Risan on Thursday. Revaccination will be done in the same order as we started vaccination with the first 2,000 doses of this vaccine, when they arrived from Serbia, said Minister Borovinić Bojović.

She once again thanked the fraternal and friendly Serbia for the donation and urged all citizens to get vaccinated.

I urge citizens to be motivated to get vaccinated and not to forget to respect epidemiological measures. I repeat that no matter how strict, rigorous or restrictive the measures are, they will not be able to give results if the citizens do not respect them, the Minister of Health said.
