Spajić and Koopman to open Investment Conference in Herceg Novi tomorrow
Prime Minister Milojko Spajić and Director-General for Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhood Gert Jan Koopman will open the second European Union–Montenegro Investment Conference (AIM 2026), which will be held on 20 and 21 October at the One&Only Portonovi hotel in Herceg Novi, under the slogan “From Partnerships to Projects”.
The conference aims to improve the investment climate, strengthen economic cooperation with the European Union and showcase Montenegro’s strategic development potential.
It will bring together senior government officials, representatives of European institutions, international financial organisations, leading companies, investment funds and the business community.
The two-day programme will feature thematic panels, presentations of investment projects and bilateral meetings, focusing on opportunities to attract new investment, improve infrastructure, advance the energy transition, promote digitalisation and innovation, and support sustainable economic development.
Particular emphasis will be placed on presenting ten priority investment projects and establishing concrete partnerships between domestic and international investors.
The conference is taking place at a significant stage in Montenegro’s European integration process and provides an additional opportunity to promote the country as a reliable and competitive investment destination, strengthen international cooperation and link development priorities with concrete investment opportunities.
Detailed information about the programme is available on the conference’s official website: https://aimconference2026.org/.
