WTO WORKSHOP ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND TRADE

The Secretariat of the World Trade Organization (WTO) is organizing with Government of Singapore, through the Singapore Cooperation Programme (SCP) and the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), a Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Trade. This Workshop will be held in Singapore, from 1 to 4 July 2025. Members may nominate 3 officials.

The main objective of this Workshop is to develop a broad understanding of the nexus between the digital economy, AI and trade and how the digital economy and AI have presented benefits for businesses and consumers.

Interested candidates (civil servants of Montenegro) who meet the requirements outlined in the invitation letter, are invited to submit applications along with accompanying documents (CV and a copy of passport) to the Ministry of Economic Development. These should be send to the following e-mail addresses: aida.salagic@mek.gov.me i nikoleta.milutinovic@mek.gov.me, no later than April 30, 2025.

The application form must be completed and signed by the candidate as well as by the nominating authority which presents the candidate, as well as stamped, and submitted to the Institute for Training and Technical Cooperation of the WTO (through the Mission in Geneva) no later than May 5, 2025.

Only civil servants who satisfy the requirements stipulated in the invitation letter will be considered in the selection process by the WTO Secretariat.
