A three day excursion for semi-seniors: learning about Montenegrin culture and history

Ministry for Human and Minority Rights organized an excursion for the best semi-seniors from Roma and Egyptian population. Three day excursion was organized with the aim of motivating students to continue their secondary education, but as a reward for their hard work and success.

On the first day children visited National parks Biogradska gora and Durmitor where they had the opportunity to enjoy their walk around Biogradsko Lake and Black Lake, as well as visiting Municipality of Žabljak. The second day included city tour of Nikšić, Krupac Lake, visiting viewpoint on Trebjesa Hill, driving to Herceg Novi, city tour and departure to Budva. After spending the night in Budva, the last day envisaged city tours of Kotor and Budva, visiting the Old Royal Capital of Cetinje and the Museum of King Nicolas. During the excursion semi-seniors had the opportunity to learn about Montenegrin culture and history, but to socialize and get familiar all together, made new acquaintances and new knowledge.

Special symphaties they got in Cetinje, at the King Nikola's Museum where they were highly interested in educational content they were given.

This was the the first three day excursion Ministry for Human and Minority Rights organized for twenty-four Roma and Egyptian semi-seniors.
