Abazović arrives in Davos, to meet IMF Managing Director tomorrow

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović is paying a three-day visit to Switzerland, where he will participate in the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting.

This extraordinary event takes place at a watershed moment in history from 22-26 May 2022, convening nearly 2,500 leaders to tackle global issues and find solutions to the world's most urgent challenges including the ongoing global pandemic, the war in Ukraine, geo-economic shocks and climate change. The meeting is centered around the theme History at a Turning Point: Government Policies and Business Strategies.

On 25 May, Prime Minister Abazović will speak at the "Diplomacy and Dialogue in the Western Balkans" session, alongside presidents and prime ministers of the region, as well as foreign ministers, representatives of the EU and numerous international organisations.

On 24 May, PM Abazović will meet with Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Kristalina Georgieva.

Prime Minister Abazović and leaders from the world of politics, business and science will attend a dinner organised by the host and founder of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab.

On the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Prime Minister Abazović will meet with EU and regional leaders.
