Abazović meets Bettel: Luxembourg IT company will create 50 new jobs in Montenegro

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović met with Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Prime Minister Abazović invited the Prime Minister of Luxembourg to visit Montenegro with a delegation of businesspeople in order to start closer economic cooperation.

Prime Minister Bettel informed Prime Minister Abazović about the intention of the IT company from Luxembourg to open its representative office in Montenegro, which would lead to the creation of about fifty new jobs.

Prime Minister Abazović pointed out that the two sides should sign the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement, which would enable more investments to Montenegro from the friendly state of Luxembourg.

The two officials stressed the importance of intensifying economic cooperation, especially in the energy, tourism and banking sectors.
