Abazović, Borrell, and Varhelyi to hold a joint press conference

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission Josep Borrell, and EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Olivér Várhely will hold a joint press conference following the eleventh meeting of the EU-Montenegro Stabilisation and Association Council on Thursday, 14 July.

The press conference will be held at the Hilton Hotel (Crystal Hall), starting at 11:45 a.m.

Translation will be provided and media representatives will be able to ask questions during the event.

The Stabilisation and Association Council is meeting for the first time outside the European Union. Participants will discuss the accession strategy – in particular in the light of the Commission’s Montenegro 2021 Report. The Council will also take stock of the bilateral relations under the Stabilisation and Association Agreement and exchange views on recent developments in Montenegro and in the Western Balkans.
