On the occasion of the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina - 1 March, Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović extended congratulations to Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers Bisera Turković and the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

I extend my sincere congratulations on the occasion of the Independence Day. We hope that the two neighbouring and friendly countries will make the best decisions for our citizens, guided by the idea of building a prosperous Western Balkans that will be a symbol of coexistence, reconciliation and progress, said Deputy Prime Minister Abazović.

Abazović points out that in these gloomy times, we in the Western Balkans need to gather around a common interest, which is to join the European Union, while building bridges of cooperation.

Montenegro respects the international principles and territorial integrity of BiH, cherishing good neighbourly relations in the Western Balkans, as the basis for further progress. Let's turn to the future and reconciliation, because only in that way can we take a step further in building a better future for our countries, Abazović concluded.
