Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović visited the Military Medical Centre in Podgorica and got acquainted with the vaccination process that is taking place in that institution for members of the Armed Forces of Montenegro and medically at-risk groups.

Emphasising the importance of mass vaccination, DPM Abazović said that this is the only way to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. The Deputy Prime Minister said that mass vaccination would save lives, but also the economy of the country, and that Montenegro would not be a desirable destination unless we had a high percentage of vaccinated people.

During his visit to the Military Medical Centre, Abazović ascertained that there were enough vaccines for all registered members of the Armed Froces of Montenegro.

Furthermore, DPM Abazović, Acting Deputy Chief of General Staff Colonel Aleksandar Pantović and Head of the Military Medical Centre, Dr. Dragana Čađenović, spoke about capacities and medical equipment available to the Military Medical Centre. Dr. Čađenović said that vaccination of all registered members of the Armed Forces of Montenegro will be completed during the next week, adding that vaccination of medically at-risk groups has been carried out in the Military Medical Centre so far.
