Over the past two years, from 23 July 2024 to 23 July 2026, the Parliament of Montenegro has adopted a total of 414 laws, representing an unprecedented pace of legislative activity and clear evidence of the country's commitment to European integration.

Particular emphasis should be placed on the fact that around 100 laws directly related to the EU agenda have been adopted this year alone, marking key steps towards aligning Montenegro's legal system with the EU acquis and accelerating the country's accession process.

To put the scale of this achievement into perspective, it is worth recalling that, prior to the current parliamentary term, the average number of laws adopted stood at approximately 110 per year. The fact that this figure has more than doubled over the past two years speaks volumes about the hard work, dedication and strong cooperation between the 44th Government of Montenegro and the 28th Parliament of Montenegro.

This is more than just a statistic – it is proof that the Government and Parliament have established a new standard of efficiency, accountability and productivity. With a clear vision and committed cooperation, we have delivered tangible results that are directly accelerating Montenegro's path towards full European Union membership while creating a stronger legal and economic environment for all our citizens, said Minister without Portfolio Milutin Butorović.

Building on these achievements, the Government will continue to work with even greater determination in the service of Montenegro's citizens and the country's European future.
