Coordination Body for Harmonisation and Monitoring of Inspections holds its 9th session

The 9th session of the Coordination Body for Harmonisation and Monitoring of Inspections was held today, chaired by Minister without Portfolio Milutin Butorović.
During the session, the 2025 Annual Report on the Work of the Coordination Body was reviewed. Members of the Coordination Body had no comments or suggestions regarding the report.
In addition, the reports on the work of inspection authorities for January and February 2026 were reviewed and unanimously adopted.
The Coordination Body also adopted the Report on Joint Inspection Activities conducted on 7 and 8 March 2026. The two-day joint inspections demonstrated effective coordination among inspection authorities. The results achieved confirm a high level of professionalism among inspectors, accuracy in identifying irregularities, and the ability to provide clear guidance to supervised entities. The collected data indicate a significant workload, as well as the ongoing need for planned and coordinated action by inspection authorities. Such an approach contributes to compliance with legal regulations, the elimination of irregularities, and the strengthening of trust between supervisory authorities and supervised entities, thereby fulfilling the objective of safeguarding the public interest and enhancing lawful business practices. Taking into account all results and circumstances of the inspections, it can be concluded that the controls were efficient, well-targeted, and conducted in accordance with high professional standards, providing a solid basis for future coordinated and planned inspection activities.
The Coordination Body was also briefed on the current status of the Unified Inspection Information System, including the possibilities for integrating the system into those inspection services where it has not yet been implemented.
Under the agenda item “Any Other Business”, it was concluded that, in order to ensure more efficient and effective functioning of inspection authorities during the upcoming summer tourist season, a decision should be adopted to establish a working group for the preparation of the summer tourist season.
