Chairmanship at a Glance

In total 25 events organized throughout 2026 in Montenegro and other Western Balkan countries. From 25, 14 were Ministerial-level events.

The programme of Montenegro’s chairmanship brought together ministerial meetings, conferences and thematic forums covering agriculture, public administration, energy, labour and social affairs, culture, youth, internal affairs, human rights, ecology, economy and foreign affairs.

Additional thematic forums addressed business, science, anti-corruption, illicit financing and border security.

Particular emphasis was placed on inclusive formats that strengthen the democratic dimension of the Berlin Process, including the Roma Ministerial, Youth Forum, Civil Society and Think-Tank Forum, Gender Equality Forum and Public Voices’ Forum.

Together, these activities provided broader opportunities for participation and strengthened the link between regional policies and the needs of citizens.
