Committee for the Organization of Independence Day Commemoration holds a session

At the session of the Committee for the Organization of the Commemoration of the Twentieth Anniversary of the Restoration of Montenegro’s Independence, chaired by Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, the Programme for marking this state jubilee was reviewed. The programme was prepared by the Coordination Body responsible for organizing the activities.
Members of the Committee were informed about the planned activities, the implementation timeline, as well as the estimated financial resources required for the realization of the planned events.
The Programme, developed through cooperation between the Coordination Body and numerous state administration bodies and relevant stakeholders, defines the activities necessary for organizing the central state ceremony, as well as other cultural and artistic events intended for citizens and visitors.
After reviewing the document, the Committee for the Organization of the Commemoration of the Twentieth Anniversary of Independence adopted the Programme, concluding that the Coordination Body should continue with the planned activities and regularly provide updates on the implementation timeline.
The importance of effective coordination and inter-institutional cooperation was emphasized in order to ensure that the jubilee is marked in a ceremonial manner worthy of the most important date in the modern history of Montenegro.
