Coordinating Body for the Harmonisation and Monitoring of Inspection Oversight holds its 6th session

As part of its regular activities, the Coordinating Body for the Harmonisation and Monitoring of Inspection Oversight held its sixth session, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development and President of the Coordinating Body Milun Zogović.
Based on the monthly reports submitted by the inspections monitored by the Coordinating Body, inspections achieved notable results during the period from 1 June to 30 September 2025.
During the reporting period, inspections carried out a total of 31,293 inspections, including 24,222 regular inspections, 2,918 inspections initiated upon request, and 4,153 follow-up inspections to monitor the implementation of orders for the elimination of identified irregularities.
A total of 12,279 irregularities were identified, resulting in 12,719 misdemeanour orders being issued.
Out of the total fines amounting to €5,891,796.94, fines issued through misdemeanour orders accounted for €5,805,946.94, while €85,850.00 was imposed through decisions on monetary penalties.
Between June and September 2025, 162 requests for the initiation of misdemeanour proceedings were submitted to the competent court, totalling €179,550.00.
In the area of foreign trade control, the Sanitary Inspection, Phytosanitary Inspection, Food Inspection, and Veterinary Inspection issued a total of 24,015 decisions, generating €894,481.19 in fees for inspections performed.
Additionally, these inspections issued 2,799 certificates, generating an additional €30,774.80 in inspection fees.
