Davos: Prime Minister Spajić participates in Panel on EU Enlargement

Prime Minister Milojko Spajić is attending the 54th annual session of the World Economic Forum in Davos, where he spoke today on a panel titled "The Business Case for EU Enlargement."

The Prime Minister emphasised that Montenegro is fully committed to meeting the requirements for EU membership.

The integration process serves as a cohesive factor in our society, and we perceive EU accession in the context of deep economic integration, enabling the transformation of our economy and significantly enhancing the quality of life for our citizens, he stated.

The Prime Minister stressed that the Government is committed to preserving political stability, continuing constructive and inclusive dialogue, and implementing key economic policies. In this regard, the Growth Plan, as a supportive framework provided by the European Union, plays a crucial role in advancing comprehensive reforms.

We are determined to build responsible, independent, and transparent institutions, he emphasised.

In addressing the economic and financial landscape, the Prime Minister assessed that Montenegro is largely prepared for membership, and the Government is determined to swiftly fulfill all requirements of the integration process, aiming for Montenegro to become the next EU member state.
