Davos: Spajić meets with representatives of one of the world's largest energy companies

During his participation in the 54th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Prime Minister Milojko Spajić met with Yukio Kani, Global CEO and Chair of the Japanese company JERA, one of the world's largest energy companies.

Prime Minister Spajić presented Montenegro's energy potentials, emphasising that the Government strategically approaches the issue of energy transition and carefully considers potential partnerships.

Energy is a crucial resource that Montenegro possesses. In order to fully harness its capacity for development, we require the best technologies and credible partners, stated the Prime Minister.

Mr. Yukio Kani expressed interest in continuing communication with the relevant ministry to gain a more in-depth understanding of the energy portfolio and explore models of potential collaboration.

The meeting was attended by Corporate Vice President and Managing Executive Officer Kazuo Sakairi.

JERA is one of the world's largest energy companies, jointly owned 50-50% by two state-owned Japanese energy companies.
