DPM Aleksić meets with Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye

Deputy Prime Minister for Education, Science and Relations with Religious Communities Budimir Aleksić received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Montenegro Ayda Ünlü. The meeting focused on opportunities for cooperation between Montenegro and the Republic of Türkiye in the fields of science, education, culture, and other areas of mutual importance.

Türkiye is an important foreign policy partner of Montenegro, and for that very reason it is important that we cooperate in the fields of culture, science, and education in order to jointly push the boundaries of knowledge in these and related areas, Deputy Prime Minister Aleksić stated, among other things.

Ambassador Ünlü emphasized that the Montenegrin diaspora in the Republic of Türkiye represents an important link in the richness of bilateral relations, as these are people who carry Montenegro in their hearts. It is important to invest in young people. We can jointly implement numerous projects, Ambassador Ünlü stated.

Deputy Prime Minister Aleksić and Ambassador Ünlü also expressed hope that the current delicate international situation in the Middle East will soon calm down and that life in the region will return to normal.
