DPM Aleksić meets with Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye Barış Kalkavan

Deputy Prime Minister for Education, Science and Relations with Religious Communities Budimir Aleksić received today Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye Barış Kalkavan on his farewell visit.

Deputy Prime Minister Aleksić emphasized that Montenegro maintains good relations with the Republic of Türkiye, and that these relations were further strengthened during Ambassador Kalkavan’s mandate. He expressed hope that the positive trend of cooperation between the two countries will continue to grow in all areas, regardless of recent isolated incidents. Aleksić wished Ambassador Kalkavan success in his future professional endeavors and personal life.

Ambassador Kalkavan stated that he spent a very pleasant period in Montenegro and that significant progress has been achieved in many areas, from the economy to culture and education. He expressed hope that this positive trend will continue in the coming period.
