DPM Bečić meets with Admiral Rob Bauer, Chair of NATO Military Committee

Deputy Prime Minister Aleksa Bečić met with Admiral Rob Bauer, Chair of the NATO Military Committee.

Unity and solidarity among allies are crucial in these challenging geopolitical times and processes, and the 44th Government firmly stands on the European and Euro-Atlantic path, confirmed by concrete decisions and actions of the new authorities. Strengthening institutions, socio-economic empowerment of citizens, reducing tensions and polarization, credible NATO membership, and the successful completition of the European path that we have strongly revitalized are our priorities, said Deputy Prime Minister Bečić.

Expressing satisfaction with his visit to Montenegro, Admiral Bauer wished success to our country in further EU negotiation processes, emphasizing unity as a fundamental value. "NATO member states are here for each other, 31 member states who are increasingly stronger, more stable, closer, and always with the same goal – peace, stability, and security for all of us," said the Admiral.

We respect decisions and agreements within the Alliance, actively participate in peace missions, demonstrate solidarity, and commitment to defending fundamental values. We will continue to be a credible and reliable member and ally because there can be no compromise with values. The values of freedom, democracy, security, and safety must always be our guiding star, concluded the Deputy Prime Minister.
