DPM Budimir Aleksić meets with French Ambassador Cécile Humbert Bouvier

Deputy Prime Minister for Education, Science and Relations with Religious Communities Budimir Aleksić met today with the newly appointed Ambassador of France to Montenegro Cécile Humbert Bouvier.

The meeting focused on opportunities to deepen bilateral cooperation, with particular emphasis on science, culture and education.

Deputy Prime Minister Aleksić stressed that France’s support for Montenegro’s European integration process is of invaluable importance, noting that French experience and achievements in numerous areas represent a valuable model for Montenegro.

Ambassador Humbert Bouvier said that she was honoured to take up her post at a historic moment when Montenegro is making notable progress on its path towards the EU, reaffirming France’s strong commitment to continuing to provide robust support for this process. She praised the results achieved so far and expressed confidence that the friendly relations between the two countries would be further strengthened in the period ahead.
