Gjeloshaj meets with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic Denisa Saková

Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Minister of Economic Development Nik Gjeloshaj met today with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic Denisa Saková, who is paying a visit to Montenegro.

Deputy Prime Minister Gjeloshaj welcomed the Slovak delegation and highlighted the excellent economic cooperation between the two countries.

For the Government of Montenegro, the process of European integration remains a key strategic priority—not only because of its economic dimension, but above all due to the vision and values embodied by the European Union, said Deputy Prime Minister Gjeloshaj.

Deputy Prime Minister Saková acknowledged the Government of Montenegro’s commitment to the EU integration process and reforms, affirming that Montenegro can count on Slovakia’s continued support.

The meeting also focused on opportunities to strengthen cooperation across various sectors of the economy, including green energy, infrastructure, tourism, agriculture, and others.

Concluding the meeting, both sides reaffirmed the strong bilateral relations between Montenegro and Slovakia and agreed to maintain regular communication and enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
