Smart Growth, Green Future: Accelerating Investment in Montenegro

The Ministry of Public Works invites interested representatives from the domestic and international business community, institutions, and organizations to participate in the Investment Conference “Smart Growth, Green Future: Accelerating Investment in Montenegro,” taking place on 14–15 October 2025, with the goal of fostering strategic, green, and sustainable investments and positioning Montenegro as a key investment destination in the Western Balkans region.

The conference will focus on unlocking new development opportunities in the fields of renewable energy, sustainable agribusiness, tourism, transport, and information technologies.

Organized in cooperation with the European Commission and the Investment Agency, this event represents an important step in strengthening Montenegro’s role as a regional hub for green and digital investments, aligned with European values, policies, and sustainable development goals. The conference forms part of Montenegro’s European integration path and supports its alignment with broader EU frameworks.

The event will feature high-level representatives of the European Union, Prime Minister of Montenegro Milojko Spajić, as well as delegates from international organizations and leading European companies.

The conference will present Montenegro’s key investment opportunities, plans for regulatory reforms, and initiatives to enhance the investment climate, with particular emphasis on projects aligned with the EU Green Deal, the 2030 Agenda, and Montenegro’s accession process to the European Single Market.

Minister of Public Works Majda Adžović emphasized the importance of this initiative:

The conference serves as a key strategic platform to connect the public and private sectors and a unique opportunity to collectively shape a sustainable, innovative, and competitive future for Montenegro. We are opening the door for partnerships that bring green technologies, modern solutions, and quality employment. We are confident this event will further strengthen partner trust and position Montenegro as a modern, stable, and forward-looking investment destination at the heart of the region.
