The first quarterly report on the implementation of the Action Plan for addressing key recommendations from the European Commission Report shows that during the previous period significant efforts were made in fulfilling the obligations we set on the European path and that good results were achieved in all thematic clusters, with intensive monitoring of the Negotiating Group, said Chief Negotiator Zorka Kordić. I believe that the successful implementation of this planning document so far will improve assessment in many areas in the next Report of the European Commission, she added.

The Montenegrin Cabinet, at today's session, adopted the First Report on the implementation of the Action Plan for addressing the key recommendations of the European Commission on Montenegro 2021, which was prepared by the Negotiating Group. The report follows the cluster division of chapters in accordance with the New EU Accession Methodology and covers the quarterly period from 10 December 2021 to 10 March 2022.

According to Kordić, in the reporting period, a total of 64.15% of measures were implemented, 19.4% were partially implemented, and only 16.4% of measures were not implemented. The goal of the Action Plan is to encourage the dynamics of the negotiation process and a more proactive approach in fulfilling Montenegro's obligations from the European integration process when it comes to the Government and the Parliament.
