The reforms being implemented and the progress in European integration position Montenegro as an important destination for investments by leading Japanese companies. This was the key message conveyed during a roundtable hled in London, where Prime Minister Milojko Spajić met with representatives of Japan’s largest corporations and prominent figures from the global business community.

Prime Minister Spajić emphasized that Montenegro has entered a major investment cycle, with ongoing projects valued at nearly three billion euros in the fields of infrastructure, energy, and transport.

He underlined that Montenegro – with its competitive tax policy, affordable electricity prices, membership in SEPA and NATO, and commitment to green transition – offers a secure and inspiring environment for investors.

The meeting was attended by representatives of Takenaka Corporation, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, Kawasaki, Hitachi, Osaka Gas, SMBC Bank, I-Environment, JGC Corporation, Mitsui, JETRO, Nippon Express, JTB…
