Maša Vlaović

Minister of Culture and Media

Born in 1985, Maša Vlaović is a dedicated scholar and accomplished professional in the field of art history. She embarked on her academic journey at the University of Montenegro, where she graduated from the Faculty of Economics in 2008. Passionate about the arts, she pursued her studies further and completed her undergraduate degree in Art History at the Faculty of Arts, Theory, and History of Art, University of Donja Gorica, in 2014. Her thirst for knowledge led her to earn a master's degree in the same field in 2015, receiving accolades such as the "December 19th" Award from the Capital City, the "CANU" Award and Scholarship for outstanding academic achievements, and the Faculty of Arts' Award for the best student.

Maša Vlaović's passion for art and continuous pursuit of excellence are reflected in her current pursuit of doctoral studies. Her dedication to the academic world extends to her role as an educator at the Faculty of Arts, where she engages with students on subjects such as Art History of Baroque and Rococo, Art History of the 18th Century, and Visual Arts and New Media.

With a diverse background, Maša has also showcased her curatorial skills while working as a curator in the Museums and Galleries of Podgorica, further contributing to the preservation and promotion of artistic heritage.
