Montenegro is open to all tourists, ready to show its hospitality, said Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić, who paid a visit to the Dobrakovo border crossing today. The Prime Minister saw that everything is working well, that procedures are being respected and that there are no long wait times at the border.

PM Krivokapić said that the tourists, whom he greeted at the Dobrakovo border crossing, were satisfied, but a little surprised, because they did not expect to be greeted by the Prime Minister.

He stated that in June 2021, 24 percent more passenger vehicles crossed the Dobrakovo border crossing compared to the same month in 2019.

PM Krivokapić said that the number of passengers increased by 13 percent, which are impressive results. He noted that the coronavirus situation is stable, adding that the average number of infected per 100 thousand inhabitants was three in the last 15 days. This is the proof that Montenegro is in the green zone, said Krivokapić and added that adherence to COVID-19 measures is crucial.

The Prime Minister added that all services are synchronized, but that not much has been done since 2011, when the Dobrakovo border crossing was opened.

PM Krivokapić said that it is important to take into account the conditions in which employees work.

Montenegro is open to all tourists, we do not have any additional requirements, which exist at other border crossings. I hope that all tourists will be pleased with our hospitality, said Krivokapić and added that everyone is welcome.
