PM Spajić announces: Montenegro to host the EU–Western Balkans Summit in 2026

Prime Minister Milojko Spajić announced on social media platform “X” that Montenegro has been selected to host the EU–Western Balkans Summit in 2026.

Before Montenegro closes all negotiation chapters, the country will welcome the leaders of all EU member states, the Prime Minister stated, “to win them over with the beauty of our country and its people.”

The decision to entrust Montenegro with the organization of this high-level summit represents significant recognition of the country’s achievements in the European integration process.
