PM Spajić to attend Western Balkans Leaders’ Meeting in Tirana on Friday
Prime Minister Milojko Spajić will participate tomorrow, 21 November, in the meeting of Western Balkan leaders dedicated to the Growth Plan, to be held in Tirana.
The meeting, hosted by Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama, continues a series of gatherings focused on implementing the Growth Plan and reviewing results achieved in applying this strategic document for the Western Balkans.
Heads of state and government, as well as representatives of international and regional organizations, will participate.
The Growth Plan for the Western Balkans provides new momentum for accelerating the region’s convergence and enhances the readiness of Western Balkan economies to integrate into the European Union’s Single Market.
Considering that Single Market integration plays a central role in the EU path of the region, the Tirana meeting is an opportunity to agree – together with EU partners – on new initiatives to improve digital connectivity, deepen economic and technological cooperation, and support greater investment across the Western Balkans.
For Montenegro, participation in this meeting reaffirms its clear reform trajectory and readiness to meet the obligations of the European agenda, further strengthening its position as the region’s leader in the EU integration process.
