Press release on Cabinet's decisions made on 2, 5 and 6 April without holding session

At the session held on 8 April 2021, the Montenegrin Cabinet adopted the minutes on the decisions made, based on Article 10 of the Decree on the Government of Montenegro, without holding the session on 2, 5 and 6 April 2021.

On 2 April 2021, on the occasion of the Initiative for initiating the procedure for assessing the constitutionality of the provisions of Art. 5, 7 and 19 of the Law on Freedom of Religion or Belief and Legal Status of Religious Communities ("Official Gazette of Montenegro", No. 8/21), submitted to the Constitutional Court of Montenegro by the NGO "Montenegro International" from Podgorica, and submitted to the Cabinet by the Constitutional Court of Montenegro In order to give an opinion, the Cabinet adopted the Opinion that the stated provisions of the Law do not violate any of the principles established by the Constitution, and that the Initiative should not be accepted.

The Information on financial assistance for employees of COVID centres was also adopted.

On 5 and 6 April, the Cabinet adopted personnel decisions within its competence.
