Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić, on behalf of the Government and in his personal capacity, extended congratulations on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts (CANU).

The Prime Minister noted that the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts is a guardian of the highest achievements and values in the field of science and art of our country.

Today, we can see the exceptional contribution that CANU has made through numerous scientific works, valuable projects, publications, expert opinions and outstanding artistic achievements in shaping the modern, science-based collective awareness of Montenegrin citizens.

Over the past half-century, CANU has affirmed freedom and prudence, without which there is no progress, both in scientific and artistic work, and in overall, current social processes. The professional achievements of your members have made Montenegro recognised in scientific and artistic circles, not only in the region, but also in the world.

We are proud of the work of the Academy and we thank you for investing all your knowledge, experience and skills in social progress, reconciliation, tolerance and understanding. In the future, we also expect advice, lessons and wisdom from the Academy, the Prime Minister's confratulatory letter reads.
