Renata Milutinović

Acting Director of the Directorate for Industrial and Regional Development

Renata Milutinović, M.Sc., was born on October 20, 1982 in Podgorica, Montenegro.

In July 2005 she graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica. At the same faculty, within the postgraduate studies "Business Management", in June 2007 she defended her master's thesis entitled "Restructuring of companies in the post-transition period".

She began her professional career at the Ministry of Economy in January 2006, as an trainee, after that she worked as an Independent Advisor until she has been appointed for the Head of Department for Industrial Development. During her engagement in the Ministry of Economy, she participated in the development of numerous plans, programs, strategies and studies in the field of industrial and economic development.

Since July 2018, she has been the Head of the Working Group for the preparation and conduct of negotiations on Montenegro's accession to the European Union in the area of the acquis communautaire, which refers to the negotiation chapter 6 – Company Law.

During her career so far, she has participated in several professional seminars, conferences and study tours on economic development and economic policy in the United States, Austria, Germany, Italy, Japan, etc.

At the session of the Government of Montenegro, on April 15, 2021, she was appointed Acting Director General of the Directorate for Industrial and Regional Development in the Ministry of Economic Development.

She is married. Mother of two children.
