Road Đurđevića Tara–Mojkovac to reopen to traffic tomorrow

Following the completion of the main works on the remediation of the landslide at the Sokolovina site, the regional road R-10 Đurđevića Tara–Mojkovac will be reopened to traffic tomorrow (31 December).

All structural elements have been completed, along with waterproofing works and the construction of the overlay above the gallery, creating the conditions for this section to be reopened. As soon as weather conditions allow, asphalt works and the installation of traffic signage will also be carried out.

The decision to reopen the road was made in view of the expected increase in traffic during the upcoming holiday period, as well as the fact that this road represents an important connection to the Durmitor ski centre, particularly during the winter tourism season.

The reopening of this road is of special importance for the local population, as it facilitates everyday mobility and access to healthcare, educational, and other essential services.

All road users are urged to adjust their driving to road conditions, exercise particular caution on sections where works were carried out, and strictly comply with the installed traffic signage.
