Session of the Privatisation and Capital Projects Council: Expert consultant to deliver analysis of two proposed models for HG Budvanska rivijera

At its session held on 9 October 2025, the Privatisation and Capital Projects Council reviewed the Initiative for the adoption of the privatisation and restructuring plan of the Hotel Group “Budvanska Rivijera”, submitted by the company MK Group.

The Council concluded that, prior to adopting any decision, the initiative should be forwarded to the adviser Horwath & Horwath Consulting Zagreb, with whom the Council has concluded a consultancy contract, in order to ensure a professional analysis of the proposed initiative.

The adviser has been tasked to submit, within 30 days, a legal, economic, and financial analysis of the submitted project, which shall include a detailed elaboration of two models – the proposed restructuring model and the joint-investment model of the Government and the investor – as well as an analysis of the applicable legal regulations under which the Privatisation and Capital Projects Council, within its competences, would implement the procedure.
