Spajić and Sheikh Al Nahyan discuss strengthening ties between Montenegro and the UAE

Prime Minister Milojko Spajić spoke by phone with His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, to discuss enhancing the friendly and strategic relations between Montenegro and the UAE.

The two officials exchanged views on concrete opportunities to deepen cooperation in key sectors such as tourism, energy, and information technology, with a clear emphasis on attracting investment and creating new jobs.

Prime Minister Spajić emphasized that the Government’s core objective is to develop Montenegro based on economic growth, innovation, the rule of law, and partnerships with credible international investors.

We remain committed to building a modern, open, and competitive Montenegro — ready to embark on a new chapter of cooperation with strategic partners around the world, the Prime Minister stated.

Both sides agreed that the adoption of the Montenegro–UAE Cooperation Agreement by the Montenegrin Parliament lays a strong foundation for launching a historic new phase of bilateral collaboration across various fields.
