Spajić congratulates new German Chancellor: Time for Europe to become the world’s leading economy again

Prime Minister Milojko Spajić congratulated the newly elected Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz.

In a message shared on the social media platform X, Prime Minister Spajić noted that Chancellor Merz recognizes both the importance of European Union enlargement and the need for Europe to adopt a pro-business approach amid what he described as “the most challenging global circumstances and international competition.”

Europe’s goal must be to once again become the world’s number one economy, Spajić stated.
