Strong support from Hungary, the Netherlands, and Bulgaria for Montenegro's EU path

The intensification of already strong relations with the Kingdom of the Netherlands is vital for Montenegro, as emphasised in the discussion between Prime Minister Spajić and Ambassador Joost Reintjes.

There is significant potential for enhancing economic cooperation in infrastructure projects, the energy sector, agriculture, and the food industry.

Infrastructure is a key priority for progress, and completing major transportation projects promptly is essential.

Ambassador Reintjes expressed his country's strong desire to assist Montenegro on its European path and in economic matters.

The possibility of collaboration in maritime traffic was highlighted.

Discussions also covered the upcoming Intergovernmental Conference and the impressive achievements of the 44th Government, accelerating the path to the EU.

Improving road connectivity will further strengthen the excellent relations between Montenegro and Bulgaria, as highlighted during the meeting between Prime Minister Spajić and Ambassador Stefan Dimitrov.

The importance of opening a direct air route between Podgorica and Sofia was discussed, aiming to boost economic and tourist cooperation.

Ambassador Dimitrov commended the 44th Government for its significant accomplishments in the past two and a half months and reiterated Bulgaria's full support on the EU path.
