The 1st Cabinet session – 29 April 2022

The newly elected Cabinet held its first session today, chaired by Prime Minister Dritan Abazović. Permanent working bodies were formed at the session, the method of work was agreed and steps were taken to meet the normative, as well as administrative and technical conditions so that the Cabinet could function at full capacity from the next session. Also, the necessary appointments were made in the Secretariat-General of the Government and the Office of the Prime Minister.

The following commissions were formed:

Commission for Political System, Internal and Foreign Policy, headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Raško Konjević,

Commission for Economic Policy and Financial System, headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Vladimir Joković and

Commission for Personnel and Administrative Affairs, headed by Minister of the Interior Filip Adžić.

Minister without Portfolio Zoran Miljanić was appointed President of the Commission for Natural Disaster Damage Assessment, while Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Capital Investments Ervin Ibrahimović was appointed President of the Commission for Allocation of Part of the Budget Reserve.

At the proposal of the Prime Minister, Minister without Portfolio Zoran Miljanić is in charge of the fight against corruption, while Adrijan Vuksanović is in charge of inclusion, protection of human rights and promotion of anti-discrimination policies.

Boris Marić was appointed Secretary-General of the Government, while Ana Rašović was appointed Chief of the Office of the Prime Minister.

Advisers to the Prime Minister have also been appointed: Sergej Sekulović, Adviser on Domestic Policy and the Political System, Ivo Šoć, Legal Adviser, Miloš Perišić, Media Adviser, and Radivoje Koprivica, Digital Media Adviser.
