The Secretariat of the World Trade Organization (WTO), in close collaboration with the Secretariats of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), is organizing the 16th Trade and Public Health Workshop, which will have a Special Focus on Pandemic Response. The Workshop's theme and programme are based on the 2nd Edition of the WHO-WIPO-WTO Trilateral Study "Promoting Access to Medical Technologies and Innovation: Intersections between Public Health, Intellectual Property and Trade".

The Trade and Public Health Workshop is envisaged for public sector policymakers who already have an advanced understanding of issues at the intersection of trade, intellectual property (IP) and public health, and who have practical experience in policy processes in these fields.

Interested candidates (civil servants of Montenegro) can apply through the online application which can be found at the following link.

The online application requires the submission of a scanned copy of the passport, as well as the official letter of nomination of the competent body that nominates the candidate. After submitting the application, the candidate will receive a return confirmation, which must be submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economic Development and Tourism no later than June 17, 2022, to the following e-mail addresses: stanica.andjic@mfa.gov.me, goran.scepanovic@mek.gov.me and aida.salagic@mek.gov.me. It will be submitted to the WTO Secretariat for decision-making through diplomatic channels (no later than June 22, 2022).
