Every member of the United Nations is necessary for the joint success of preserving the core values of the UN, DPM Abazović pointed out.

The Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that the future of civilization rests on sustainable development and that it has no alternative. Abazović emphasised the importance of preserving regional stability and the necessity of full integration of the Western Balkans into the European Union, as a precondition for the stability and prosperity of the Region, but also of Europe.

Montenegro will continue to support all UN activities that lead to preventing the negative effects of climate change, said Foreign Minister Đorđe Radulović.

In that sense, Radulović emphasised that climate change is one of the biggest challenges of our time and that Montenegro remains a reliable partner of the UN, adding that there is no alternative to sustainable development.

Montenegro is a reliable and important partner of the UN. We want to strengthen cooperation with Montenegro, UN Secretary-General António Guterres pointed out.

The officials agreed that territorially small countries can make a great contribution on a global level. DPM Abazović invited Guterres to visit Montenegro.
