WTO advances course on the economic analysis of trade policy

The Secretariat of the World Trade Organization (WTO) is organizing Advanced Course on the Economic Analysis of Trade Policy, to be held from 24 to 28 June 2024, in Geneva, Switzerland, in English. The course is a "Level 3" specialized training and members may nominate one official.

Candidates for this advanced course must: hold a master's degree or a PhD in economics or in a related discipline; possess basic knowledge of econometric techniques; be familiarized with the STATA software; have completed a WTO (E-Learning or a face-to-face) training activity and/or have demonstrably commensurate knowledge or professional experience and possess an excellent ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing.

Interested candidates (civil servants of Montenegro) who meet the requirements outlined in the invitation letter, are invited to submit applications along with accompanying documents (CV and a copy of passport) to the Ministry of Economic Development. These should be send to the following e-mail addresses: aida.salagic@mek.gov.me i nikoleta.milutinovic@mek.gov.me, no later than March 21, 2024.

The application form must be completed and signed by the candidate as well as by the nominating authority which presents the candidate, as well as stamped, and submitted to the Institute for Training and Technical Cooperation of the WTO (through the Mission in Geneva) no later than March 25, 2024.

Only civil servants who satisfy the requirements stipulated in the invitation letter will be considered in the selection process by the WTO Secretariat.
