Visa regime

Montenegrin citizens may enter, pass through and stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina for up to 90 days without a visa. Montenegrin citizens may enter and stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina for up to 30 days with an ID card, without a visa.

Diplomatic relations

Bosnia and Herzegovina officially recognized Montenegro on June 21, 2006. Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on September 14, 2006.
