Visas

The citizens of Montenegro need to obtain a visa for their entrance and sojourn in the Republic of Djibouti (the visas are issued upon their arrival at the airport / border crossing, provided that the person  owns a passport which is not due to expire in less than six months; in addition to, since 2018, prior obligatory acquisition of an „e-Visa“).Visa issuances, and other consular affairs with regard to Montenegrin citizens, are placed under the jurisdiction of the Embassy of France in Belgrade (limited to the matters regarding Montenegrins in the capacity of the receiving state citizens).

Diplomatic Relations Overview

The Government of the Republic of Djibouti officially recognized Montenegro on the 6th of October 2011, and diplomatic relations between our two countries were established on the same day.
