Diplomatic relations
The Republic of Nicaragua recognized Montenegro on 26 September 2009. Diplomatic relations between two countries were established on the same day.
Visa regime
Nationals of Montenegro are required to obtain a visa to enter Nicaragua.
Visa may be obtained from the Embassy of Nicaragua in Rome, the Republic of Italy.
