Visas

Nationals of Montenegro may enter, pass through and stay in Singapore for up to 30 days, with a valid travel document, without a visa.

Diplomatic Relations

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, Montenegro and the Republic of Singapore have maintained friendly relations. Montenegro is interested in further strengthening bilateral ties with Singapore, and the full valorization of potentials in areas of mutual importance.

Singapore recognized Montenegro on June 14, 2006, and diplomatic relations were established on June 30, 2006.

Diplomatic communication is carried out through the Permanent Missions of the two countries to the United Nations (in New York).

Political Contacts

The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, paid an official visit to Singapore on May 5, 2009.

Economic Cooperation / International Trade

In 2021, trade amounted to 1.3 million euros (100% more than in the same period in 2020).

According to Monstat, no arrivals of tourists from Singapore were recorded.

In the previous 6 years, 17.7 million euros were invested in Montenegro from Singapore. In 2020, the value of Direct investments from Singapore was 3.8 million euros.
