Visa regime

Citizens of Montenegro need a visa to enter Syria. The visa can be obtained at the Syrian Embassy in Belgrade, and there is also an option to get the visa at border crossings, with the following prices:

- One entry, duration of stay up to one month - $25;

- Two entries, duration of stay up to three months - $40;

- Multiple entries, duration of stay up to six months - $50;

- Transit, one entry, duration of stay up to 15 days - $15.

Diplomatic relations

The Syrian Arab Republic recognized Montenegro's independence in August 2006 and diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on October 30th 2008.
