Visa regime 

Nationals of Albania may enter, pass through the territory of and stay in Montenegro up to 90 days, with a valid travel document, without a visa. 

Nationals of Albania may enter, pass through the territory of and stay in Montenegro up to 30 days, without a visa, with a valid identity card issued by the competent authority of Albania. 

Diplomatic relations

The Republic of Albania officially recognized the independence of Montenegro on July the 12th , 2006, while diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on August the 1st , 2006.
