Nationals of Ivory Coast are required to obtain a visa to enter Montenegro.Visas may be obtained from diplomatic and consular posts of Montenegro. If you are unable to reach a diplomatic or consular post of Montenegro, you may apply for a visa at the nearest diplomatic or consular post of the Republic of Serbia.

Diplomatic relations

On October 29, 2014, the Republic of Ivory Coast recognized the independence of Montenegro - when diplomatic relations were established.

The handing over of the credentials of the appointed ambassador of the Ivory Coast in Montenegro, based in Rome, Janine Tagliante Saracino (who has been in that position since 2012), was scheduled for 2020, but was postponed due to the corona virus pandemic.

Economic cooperation
