Public debate on Chapter 29 - Customs Union

Bearing in mind the importance of the customs union for the protection of citizens and the overall economy development, the General Secretariat of the Government, in cooperation with the Customs Administration, will organise a public debate on Chapter 29, Customs Union on Friday, January 25, 2019.
The meeting will address:
- Mr. Aleksandar Drljević, chief negotiator
- Н.Е. Mr. Aivo Orav, Head of EU Delegation to Montenegro
- Mr. Vladan Joković, Head of the Working Group for Chapter 29
After opening remarks, a panel debate will be held on the topic: "Importance of Customs Union for Citizens and Economy". At the panel will speak:
- Prof. Nikola Milović, PhD, Faculty of Economics UCG
- Prof. Vladimir Savković, PhD, Faculty of Law, UCG
- Mrs. Ljiljana Filipović, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro
- Mrs. Snežana Terzić, "Stadion doo Podgorica"
- Mr. Jože Kavčić, representative of the customs service of Slovenia
- Mrs. Tatjana Vujisić, representative of the Customs Service of Montenegro
The public debate will be held at the EU Info Center, starting at 10:00.
The event is organised within the EU4ME project funded by the European Union, and implemented by UNDP.
We invite all the media to follow the event.
