Press release Prime Minister Djukanovic meets with UKs new Ambassador to Montenegro Ms Catherine Knight-Sands

Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic hosted Wednesday a meeting with UK Ambassador to Montenegro Ms Catherine Knight-Sands.

Montenegro highly appreciates the United Kingdoms support for the integration of the Western Balkans into the European Union and NATO, Prime Minister Djukanovic said.

The Prime Minister and Ambassador Knight-Sands discussed Montenegros national priorities, including the improvement of the quality of life internally and EU and NATO integration externally.

The UK Ambassador said that supporting Montenegros bid for EU and NATO membership would be an important task of her Embassy and underlined that Montenegro was setting a good example for regional and international cooperation.

Ms Knight-Sands conveyed to the Prime Minister British investors interest in Montenegro and the Embassys readiness to promote Montenegros assets in the UK.

Prime Minister Djukanovic wished Ambassador Knight-Sands every success in her mission in Montenegro, voicing hope that good bilateral cooperation between Montenegro and the United Kingdom would be continued and promoted.
